Marcus Jones, DPT
Marcus Jones is a native of Northwest Arkansas having graduated locally from Deer High School and North Arkansas College. He is proud to have played for two great coaches, his father Darrell Jones who coached him in high school and Charlie Spoonhour who coached him on the collegiate level at Saint Louis University.
Marcus and his wife Angela opened Jones Physical Therapy in January 2005. He has been practicing physical therapy since graduating from Saint Louis University in 1996 with a Master of Physical Therapy Degree. He obtained his doctorate of physical therapy in 2007 from Southwest Baptist University. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and has since become renowned in our area for his Ola Grimsby spine specialty. Our patients feel very comfortable in his manual skills. Marcus was also the first therapist in the state of Arkansas to acquire an ASTYM certification.
On the personal side Marcus still enjoys playing basketball and attending sporting events with his dad and sister Shannon. Shannon is a former Lady Razorback and to this day Shannon and Coach Jones say that Marcus can't beat them in a game of horse. However, his favorite pastime is spending time with his wife, Angela, daughter, Addie and son, Gavin.
Sam Wilson, LPT
Sam Wilson, Physical Therapist, joined JPT April, 2008. He comes with a background in hospital based outpatient therapy. Sam is a Harrison native, graduating from Harrison High School in 1982. He received his Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2001 and was formerly the Interim Director of Rehabilitative Services at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. Sam enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Sam and his wife, Amy, enjoy two beautiful daughters, Audrey and Andi. They are active members of Faith Assembly of God, where Sam is involved in the instrumental and vocal music specials. When he isn't busy at work or church, Sam can be found playing basketball and golf. He also volunteers as a board member for the Medical Mission Clinic of Harrison which helps the uninsured with health care needs.
Sam has the distinguished honor of "playing" for the Arkansas Razorbacks in basketball and football...playing for the band, that is! He was a top notch trombonist and still blesses his church congregation with his talent.
John-Keith Boswell, DPT
John-Keith Boswell, Physical Therapist, joined JPT December 2012. He has a diverse clinical background with advanced skills in orthopedics, neuro rehab, work-related injuries, knee rehabilitation and wound care. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006 from the University of Central Arkansas.
John-Keith is a sports enthusiast, growing up he played basketball, soccer and golf for the Goblins. He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking the Ozarks, floating the Buffalo, and playing sports in his free time. He and his wife, Candace, enjoy two boys - Brekken and Laith. John-Keith says, "I look forward to giving back to my home town and raising my kids where I did."
Ashley, Nordin, ATC
Russellville High School and obtainer her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training ath the University of Central Arkansas and her Master's degree in Exercise Physiology at NcNeese State University. Ashley has experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of a variety of sports including Division 1 Football, Men's and Women's Soccer, Baseball, and Softball. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association and is a nationally certified athletic trainer.
When not on the sidelines Ashley enjoys playing with her Australian Shepherd.
Krystal Fuller, LMT
Krystal Fuller, Rehab Specialist / Licensed Massage Therapist joined JPT in 2010 as a physical therapy technician and graduated from Massage Works Clinic and School of Massage in January 2013. She is an Arkansas licensed massage therapist. Krystal is a compassionate person and strives to improve patients overall well-being through massage therapy. Numerous forms and massage techniques are available by appointment including Deep Tissue, Swedish and Clinic Massages. Krystal is originally from a small town near Carson City, Neveda and she and her husband, Jesse, love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors in the beautiful Ozarks.
Mandy Nash, ATC
Mandy joined the JPT Athletic Trainer team in November 2012. She has a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Arkansas and Master of Science in Education from Concordia University in Wisconsin. She has a passion for assisting high school and college athletes perform at their best.
Mandy grew up in Leslie, Arkansas. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Sonya joined JPT in October 2011 as the Marketing Director/Business Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specializing in Marketing Management from the University of Arkansas. Her marketing background is in the transportation and financial industries and she is excited about the opportunity to increase her knowledge in the health care field.
Sonya and her husband, Kris, enjoy two children - Shelby and Gatlin. Most of their spare time is spent supporting the kids in their many activities. Sonya is very active in the community as a member of Rotary International and serves on the Board of Directors for the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Harrison Public Schools Foundation.
